Kaa Reports ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Dark Gravity Labs and provides automated YouTube analytics reporting services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use our service.

When you authorize Kaa Reports to access your YouTube account, we collect:
- YouTube Channel Information: Channel ID, channel name, and basic channel metadata
- Video Data: Video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publication dates, and video IDs
- Analytics Data: Views, watch time, engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares), traffic sources, and audience demographics
- Revenue Data: Estimated revenue and monetization metrics (for monetized channels only)
- Authentication Data: OAuth tokens required to access your YouTube data
3. How We Access Your Data
We request the following read-only OAuth scopes:

These are read-only permissions. We cannot and will not modify, delete, upload, or publish any content on your YouTube channel.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your YouTube data exclusively to:
- Generate automated analytics reports for Playstack and their clients
- Display performance metrics and insights in report dashboards
- Enable Playstack to provide data-driven recommendations for channel growth
- Maintain and improve our reporting service
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is handled as follows:
- Processing Infrastructure: We use n8n for workflow automation to fetch and process your YouTube data.
- Report Storage: Generated reports are stored and displayed in Notion workspaces.
- Storage Duration: We temporarily cache your YouTube data to generate reports. Raw analytics data is refreshed periodically and not permanently stored beyond what's necessary for active reports.
- Authentication Tokens: OAuth tokens are stored securely and encrypted. They are used only to fetch data from YouTube on your behalf.
- Security Measures: We implement industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, secure token storage, and regular security audits.
6. Data Sharing
Your YouTube data is shared only with:
- Playstack (playstack.co): The video agency that uses Kaa Reports to generate analytics for their clients
- Service Providers: Notion (for report delivery), n8n (for workflow automation), and cloud hosting providers necessary to operate the service
We do not share your data with any other third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Revoke Access: You can revoke Kaa Reports' access to your YouTube data at any time through your Google Account permissions page
- Data Deletion: Contact us to request deletion of your data from our systems
- Access Your Data: Request a copy of the data we have collected about your channel
8. Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy
Kaa Reports' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as:
- You maintain an active connection with our service
- Necessary to provide reporting services to Playstack
- Required by law or for legitimate business purposes
When you revoke access or upon request, we delete your authentication tokens immediately and purge cached analytics data within 30 days.
10. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
